Ben Noyes, born 1974, is a cellist, collaborator, composer and educator living currently in Falmouth, ME. Music came shortly before English as his first language. Growing up in a family of musicians, Ben could play before he could talk. Elysian Fields departs from the more traditional path he embarked upon as a music student studying everything from Bach to John Cage, Shostakovich to Charles Ives.
